Wood Piling

Driven Wood Piling Offer An Economical Alternative
The use of wood piling for deep foundation support is the oldest pile system still in use. A tapered timber pile is driven to a specified depth with a hammer then cut off just above ground level. There are different types of treatment used to preserve wood piling including creosote. Recycled and recertified timber piles can be a very economical option in the right situation as the old-growth; reclaimed timber can be longer lasting than new timber and more economical.
